Students from various countries, mainly in Asia and Europe, are studying at KYOTO MINSAI. We have prepared a learning environment where students can study Japanese and have international exchanges in Japan.

It is most often high school graduates. Most of them hope to go to university. In the case of university graduates, many of them wish to go to graduate school or find a job. The age of students is around 80% in their teens and 20s, and around 20% in their 30s and older.

After graduating from KYOTO MINSAI, those who go on to graduate schools, universities, vocational schools in Japan and those who get a job account for 80% of all students.
And also there are a lot of the students pass the JLPT N2 or N1 and take active parts in various fields using Japanese in their home countries.

The short-term course is “MINSAI World” in which people from more than 40 ountries around the world, mainly in Asia and Europe. Students are improving their communication skills in Japanese in a multinational environment with mixed cultures.

The ages of students vary from teens to 70s. By providing careful guidance considering the composition of the class, “MINSAI” friendship beyond the boundaries of generations grows up between the students.
