嵐山散策

2010年2月09日には短期受講コースの学生たちが嵐山へ行きました。嵐山を散策しながら、山校長先生からが祇王寺についての説明を聞きました。渡月橋を背景に写真を取ってから京都市で一番美しい竹林を見に行きました。その後祇王寺に行きましたが、庭がとても綺麗で感動しました。また京都の昔の家も訪ねましがその家には昔の嵐山の山や建物の様子が分かる模型もありました。そしてその近くにある宿でおいしい甘酒やお茶を飲んでゆっくり過ごしました。最後に嵐山を出て、北野天満宮にも行きました。学生たちは色々なところに行って、勉強になったようです。とても楽しそうでした。
Short term class; extracurricular activities.
On the 9th of February 2010 the students of the short term class went to the Arashiyama district in Kyoto. On the way, the head of the school Mr. Yamamoto explained about the Gioji temple. We drove to the Tokugetsukyo Bridge to take some pictures. After that we went to see the most beautiful bamboo forest of Kyoto. We got in the car again to drive to the Gioji temple which garden was very impressive. We also visited an old house with a Marquette of the neighborhood in it. We decided to rest a bit at an inn and drank sweet sake (non alcoholic beverage) and Japanese tea. Finally we went to the Kitano Tenman-gū shrine. This shrine is popular among students praying for success in exams because the founder was in his life a man of literature and knowledge. We saw a lot of interesting places and listened to the stories of the head of the schools stories so it was a very enjoyable and informative day.
