京都民際日本語学校

10月5日に長期生、6日に短期生の入学式が行われました。

みんな緊張した面持ちでしたが、一生懸命自己紹介をしてくれました。　

We had a entrance ceremony for long term students on 5^th and short term students on 6^th Oct. Everyone looked nervous, but everyone did a good job introducing themselves.

9月29日、本校理事長の経営するパレスサイドホテル（http://www.palacesidehotel.co.jp/）で教職員の歓送迎会を行いました。

うち3名の教師は、青年海外協力隊等でキルギス、トンガ王国、モロッコにそれぞれ赴任されます。

人生到るところ青山あり。お元気でご活躍されることを期待しています。

また、新しい先生方のご活躍も期待しています。

We held a welcome and farewell party for Minsai teachers at the Palaceside hotel on 29^th Sep. Three teachers are going to work in Kirghiz, Kingdom of Tonga, and Morocco as a JOCV. We hope these three teachers will keep up their great work! And we are happy to have new teachers.

10月8日、9日の2日間、滋賀県の北小松において、長期生・短期生のバーベキューパーティーを行いました。

お腹いっぱい肉を食べ、自然を満喫し、学生の笑顔がひときわ輝いていたひとときでした。

We held a BBQ party in Kitakomatsu, Shiga on 8^th and 9^th Oct. Everyone had great time eating grilled meat, enjoying nature, and having fun.

10月11日、京都市役所にて、京都コンヤ市友好協会会員として、京都民際日本語学校から京都市トルコ共和国コンヤ市との友好記念碑除幕式・歓迎式典に出席しました。

On 11^th Oct, at Kyoto city hall, we participated in the memorial ceremony between Konya-city, Republic of Turkey, and Kyoto. Joining us was a Kyoto Konya-city association member.

文化交流第１弾。

今日は新入生を対象に、文化交流の一貫として、
お茶会を開きました。

学生は、日本の「茶道」を初めて目にし、
みんな興味津々で先生の話に聞き入り、お茶を味わっていました。

Cultural exchange event #1! We had a tea-ceremony event for new students today. It was first time for the students to see this Japanese tea-ceremony so they were really interested in it. Everyone enjoyed the Japanese tea.

10月16日に校長先生の招待で、京都造形芸術大学 京都芸術劇場「春秋座」へ、木下順二原作／團伊玖磨作曲 日本オペラ協会の歌劇『夕鶴』を短期・長期の学生と先生合わせて45名で見に行きました。

子供の頃から知っている物語もオペラとの融合で全く違った味わいを醸し出していて、「悲劇」をいっそう引き立てていました。

帰りには校長先生のごちそうで、京都生まれのラーメン「天下一品」をいただきました。とても美味しかったです！

Yamamoto-sensei took 45students to Kyoto Art University to see the Yu-zuru, a Japanese opera on 16^th Oct. This is based on one of Japan's tradiational children's stories, however the entire atmosphere was different because of it was integrated into an Opera. After the Opera, we went to Tenka-Ippin Ramen shop which is originated in Kyoto and has delicious Ramen. It was Yamamoto-sensei's treat, Lucky us!

10月23日、長期生・短期生の学生33名と校長など合わせて36名で奈良方面に行ってきました。

校長の行っている教会のバスツアーへの参加です。

指定文化財日本聖公会奈良キリスト教会で礼拝に出席しました。木造和風のたたずまいの中、パイプオルガンの響きに癒されたあと、奈良公園で鹿と戯れたりして、自然を満喫しました。

その後、加茂町の関西花の寺霊場第十五番札書岩船寺を訪れ、改装になった重要文化財三重塔を眺めながら、報恩の鐘をついてきました。最後に、国宝九体阿弥陀如来像を有する浄瑠璃寺を訪れました。

一本のもみじの木だけが池のほとりで紅く染まっているのが印象的でした。九体阿弥陀仏とは、私たちを理想の未来へ迎えてくれる如来で、九つの往生を表しています。すなわち、下の下から下の中、最後は上の上まで、九体の如来をまつっています。

阿弥陀如来が九体並んでいるさまは、このお寺一つで往生の状態に達することができそうなほどのありがたさを感じずにはいられません。九体の如来が鎮座しているお寺は、日本で唯一このお寺だけだそうです。http://homepage2.nifty.com/ashibinomise/joururizi.htm#amida

岩船寺には鳥居とほこらもありました。留学生は一日で、三つの宗教を身近に体験できたことになります。

日本の宗教事情が少し理解できたでしょうか・・・。

36people including Yamamoto-sensei and 33students joined the bus tour to Nara on 23^rd Oct. This was the bus tour which belong to Yamamoto-sensei's church. We participated in a ceremony at the Church in Nara which is considered a designated cultural property. We relaxed with the sound of organ and warm feel of the wood, playing with deer at Nara-park. Then we visited Gansen-ji temple and enjoyed looking at the tower which is important cultural property, and hearing its bell. We also visited Jyoruri-ji temple which has such a beautiful view of the pond with only one red maple tree next to it. There is Torii and shrine at Gansen-ji temple. We believe students closed to three religion on this day. We hope students understand a little bit about the religious situation in Japan.

10月25日、4月生の学内奨学金授与式が行われました。

インドネシアのモニカさんと中国の于立亜さんの二人です。

よくがんばりました。これからもがんばってください。

The Scholarship Award Ceremony was held for Monika-san from Indonesia and于立亜san from China on 25^th Oct. They studied very hard. Please keep up your good work!

10月27日、華道師範である柏木先生と田村先生の指導によるいけばな体験が行われました。

慣れないながらも一生懸命お花を生けていました。

みんなとてもいい顔しています！

We had a flower arrangement event for the students, Kasiwagi-sensei and Tamura-sensei lead the event. All the students did good job even though they didn't get used to it. Their faces looked very lively.

10月22日、京都恒例のお祭り、時代祭を見に行ってきました。まずは、巡業の出発地点である御所へ向か予定でしたが、巡業開始の時間は正午。時間があったので、まず二条城を見学することにしました。二条城はちょうど「菊祭り」を行っていて、観光客であふれかえっていました。ほんの1時間ほどの見学になってしまいましたが、有意義な時間が過ごせたようです。「将軍の奥さんはいったいどこにいるのですか？！」と何人もの学生が質問してきましたが、最後の部屋に将軍と御台所の人形を見つけてホッとしたようです。私たち日本人が考えもしないことに、疑問を感じるようですね。

二条城を後にして、すぐに御所へ向かいました。巡業が始ってしまっては間近で見ることが難しいので、ある先生のお勧めの場所へと足を運びました。そこは、巡業前に待機をしているところで、パフォーマンスの練習を見ることができたり、一緒に写真撮影ができたり、なんと、かつらまでかぶせてもらったりできるところでした。目の前に美しい「清少納言」が座っていたり、「徳川家康」が歩いていたりと、いつもの巡業とはまた違った新鮮な光景を目の当たりにすることができました。学生はもちろん、付き添いの教師たちにとっても日常とかけ離れた素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。

We went to see Jidai-festival which is one of big festival in Kyoto on 22^nd Oct. The parade started at Kyoto Imperial Palace around noon, we had about 1hour free time so we looked around in Nijyo-castle where the Chrysanthemum festival was held. We had a great time. Many students asked us where they can find Shogun's wife, because they couldn't find her. They were relieved when they found her in the last room they went in. It's interesting to see when students have questions, the questions are not the same as Japanese people have. We walked to the Kyoto Imperial Palace from Nijyo-castle, and went to good spot where we could see them waiting for the parade and practicing their performance. We could take photos with them and try their wigs on. We saw beautiful Seisyou-Nagon or Tokugawa-Ieyasu etc, that was really different and fresh view that we don't normally see. Everyone had amazing time.

10月28日、短期生の学生と同志社大学（http://www.doshisha.ac.jp/japanese/）　へ行き、そばにある相国寺http://www.shokoku-ji.or.jp/shokokuji/index.html、「とらや」http://www.toraya-group.co.jp/shops/sho04.htmlへ行きました。

同志社大学では、いずれも重要文化財で、レンガ造りのチャペル、クラーク記念館など、普段見られないところを見学させていただき、大変素晴らしい気分になりました。

臨済宗相国寺派本山の相国寺を訪れ、雨の中の散策を楽しみました。

最後の「とらや」では、美しい庭を眺めながら、抹茶を美味しくいただきました。

三か所とも見応え十分でした。

On October 28^th we went on a field trip to Doshisha university, Shokoku-ji temple, and Toraya. Doshisha university has a chapel and a memorial hall which is an important cultural treasure. We had chance to look at these,so we were amazed. It was rainy today but we enjoyed walking around the Shokoku-ji temple. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the garden at Toraya and had tasty green-tea. All three places were worth visiting.

Visitamos la facultad de la Universidad Doshisha, templo de Shokoku-ji y Toraya 28 de octubre. La capilla y la Casa Memorial Clark de la universidad están registrado como los tesoros culturales importantes. Nos gustó el paseo por el templo aunque estaba de lluvia y después disfrutamos la vista bella del jardín de Toraya y el sabor de té verde. Vale la pena la visita de los tres.

10月30日、初めてのミュージカルを見に行ってきました。

劇団四季　http://www.shiki.jp/　の「春のめざめ」　http://www.shiki.gr.jp/closeup/springawakening/movie/　http://www.shiki.gr.jp/applause/springawakening/　を見ました。

十代の葛藤や気持ちを表した、留学生にもわかりやすい内容で、とても感動しました。

音楽もなかなか衝撃的で、カルチャーショックを受けました。

We went to see the musical "Haruno-mezame" on October 30^th at Gekidan-Shiki. This Musical shows a teenager conflict and feeling. It was easy for students to understand the context and we were moved. We got a culture shock because of the unique music.

Vimos un musical "Haruno-mezame" (es decir, Despierta de la primavera) presentado por Guekidan Shiki el día 30 de octubre. En este musical se describen el conflicto y sentimiento de un adolescente y el contexto era fácil para los estudiantes extranjeros. Nos impresionó tanto la música original como el choque cultural.
