京都民際日本語学校

10月31日（日）朝から京都平安ロータリークラブ　http://www.kyoto-heian-rc.jp/　として、民際の校長をはじめ、ボランティアが好きな留学生が来てくれて、東堀川の清掃奉仕を一生懸命がんばりました。

そのあと、平安女学院　http://www.heian.ac.jp/　の学園祭へ行き、2時までライブやファッションショーなどを見て、楽しく、大学生と交流して過ごしました。

We joined cleaning up the Higashi-horikawa area with Yamamoto-sensei and some students who volunteered to work on Oct 31^st.

Afterwards we went to the Heian women's college to attend their school festival. We had a nice time enjoying live music and a fashion show till 2pm.

Nos acompañamos al servicio del limpio por el barrio de Higashi-horikawa con el presidente Yamamoto y los alumunos de voluntarios el día 31 de octubre. Y después fuímos a Heian Women's College a participar la fiesta de la universidad. La pasamos bien disfrutando la música viva y un fashion show hasta las 14 h.

その後、ザ・パレスサイドホテル　http://www.palacesidehotel.co.jp/　にて、オペラのガラコンサートに招待を受け、オペラアリアを聞いたり、民際卒業生で現在大阪市立大学大学院生のミャンマー出身ノリーンさんのミャンマー古典舞踊を鑑賞しました。

Then we went to Palaceside Hotel for an opera concert and a Myanmar dance. Norin-san who graduated from Minsai school showed her dance.

Después, fuimos a ver el concierto de opera y un show de baile de  Myanmar en Palaceside Hotel. Norin-san quien graduó de nuestra escuela y ahora está estudiando en el postgrado de la universidad de la ciudad de Osaka  nos mostró su baile.

11月4日（木）今週の短期コースの校外学習は、京都伝統産業ふれあい館　http://www.miyakomesse.jp/fureaika/　に行ってきました。

摺型友禅染体験で、ハンカチを作りました。

On November 4^th we went on a field trip to Fureaikan at Kyotomesse. Short-term students experienced yuzen dyeing and made beautiful handkerchiefs. Aren't they beautiful?

Visitamos Fureaikan de la Kiotomesse (la casa de la cultura de Kioto) para el estudio cultural. Hicimos los pañuelitos del teñido tradicional yuzen.  Salió lindo, no?

をお迎えし、ビショップ：『埴生の宿』、ヘンデル：「歌劇」セルセより『ラルゴ』、ナポリ民謡『サンタ・ルチア』、ジョルダーノ：「歌劇」フェドーラより『愛さずにはいられない』、日本のオペラ、歌唱、團伊玖磨：歌劇『夕鶴』より『与ひょうのアリア』を聞かせていただき、全員で『赤とんぼ』と再度ビショップ：『埴生の宿』を歌いました。

日本語の歌における発声法やオペラの歴史、そして鑑賞法なども教えてくださいました。

早速、先生と学生もブラーボーを使ってその場の雰囲気を盛り上げていました。

の４人で合唱し、学生の皆さんへハーモニーのプレゼントをしました。

今度はブラービーの嵐でした。

さすが、本田先生と神田先生は音楽大学出身、校長先生は男声合唱団に所属しているだけあって、息がピッタリで、美しいハーモニーを響かせていました。

This week's cultural exchange event about Japanese songs and opera was held on 10^th Nov. Mr. Ogata, tenor singer and Mrs.Murakami, Pianist came to school and sang songs and taught us a lot about Opera. Here is some things they said! How do you tell if the singers are good?.There are 3words, Bravo!Brava!Bravi! If a singer is male, we say Bravo!. If a singer is a female, we say Brava!. And if there is many singers, we say Bravi! Soon after the students and teachers learned this, they used these words and made very cheerful atmosphere. Christmas is coming soon, so we sang a Christmas carol together. (Soprano:Honda-sensei, Alto:kannda-sensei, Tenor:Mr.Ogata, Base: Yamamoto-sensei) This beautiful harmony was such a lovely present for the students who join the event today. The students yelled Bravi! Bravi!all the time.

11月11日（木）は、島原の花街にあった角屋「もてなしの文化美術館」　http://www16.ocn.ne.jp/~sumiyaho/index.html　へ行ってきました。

花街には揚（あげや）屋と置屋（おきや）があります。揚屋は太夫（たゆう）や芸妓（げいこ）を置いていない家で、置屋から太夫や芸妓を呼んで遊宴を行ったところです。

客は明るいうちから訪問し、俳句や和歌を詠んで頭を使ったあと、庭の横にある茶室でお茶を飲み、その後暗くなったところで太夫や芸妓と酒宴を行っていたそうです。

現在の90分食べ放題、飲み放題というようなものではなく、ゆったりと学芸・芸術を楽しみながら時間を過ごしたようです。従って、一見（いちげん）さんお断りの中で、支払いは盆と暮れの2回の付け払いであったそうです。いわば、今で言う高級サロンのようなものです。

国の重要文化財であり、有名な襖絵（ふすまえ）や建築的細工など見るべきものがたくさんあります。

この地が島原と言われるようになったのは、寛永18年（1611年）に六条柳町にあった花街を幕府の命令によって街ごと移転させられたために住人が慌てふためき、その様子が当時の九州の島原の乱の似ていたことにより、「島原」と名付けられたそうです。

We went on a field trip to Sumiya on 11^th Nov. Sumiya is located in the place which was once the entertainment district of old Kyoto. Sumiya was an Ageya in Edo period. An Ageya was an elegant restaurant where banquets and dinner parties were held, accompanied by the entartaiment of geisya and taiyu (premiere geisha). People visited Sumiya from the afternoon onwards and spent the time reading Haiku, having tea, and partying with geisya and taiyu. In modern society, Today we have 90mins unlimited drinking and eating parties at restaurants, but in old days, they took time to enjoy the Arts and food. Sumiya is an important national heritage which contains famous sliding picture and architectural work. People started calling this place Shimabara since 1611.　That year was when the Shogunate ordered people to move out so people who lived in this area got a shock. This incident was like the Shimabara Rebellion in Kyusyu, and that's why they named this area Shimabara.

梅小路蒸気機関車館　　http://www.mtm.or.jp/uslm/index.html　で菊の御紋入りのＣ５８１機関車をバックに写真を撮ったり、運転席で汽笛を鳴らして、運転士の気分に浸って楽しみました。

Afterwrads, we went to Umekouji park and enjoyed taking photos of the steam locomotive train. We also rang the bell of the train in the driver's seat which made us feel we were the drivers. We had great time there.

11月12日、今宵は、コンサートジェネシス（始原）Ⅴに出かけました。場所は、京都造形芸術大学春秋座　http://www.k-pac.org/　です。　http://www.kyoto-art.ac.jp/blog-theater/category/performance/1112genesis/

古代エジプトの各種ハープを復元したものの演奏と、聲明（しょうみょう）と雅楽（ががく）と舞を融合させた舞楽のステージでした。

西洋の音楽の原点、東洋の音楽の原点を垣間見て、現代の音楽とのつながりがあるのかとビックリしました。

まるで、スローフードとファストフードの違いのようです。

「ろれつが回らない」という言葉をご存じですか？

それは、雅楽の「呂（ろ）」と「律（りつ）」、簡単に言えば、「長音階」と「短音階」ということです。

笛でその「呂」と「律」を吹き分けられない状態のことを「呂律が回らない」と言っていたのが、今のような使い方になったようです。

天台聲明の故郷は比叡山と大原です。大原三千院の横に流れてる川を呂川と律川と言います。

水音の流れる音は呂と律なのでしょうか？

We went to see a concert on 12^th Nov at Kyoto Art university. This concert was about a performance with old restored Egyptian instruments. Also, the stage was filled with ancient court music and dance from Japan. We were suprised to see the connection between the origin of Western music and Oriental music. Have you ever heard the words, "Roretsuga-mawaranai"? This means "speaking inarticulately" in English. This is about difference between Ro and Ritsu, in other words, Major scale and Minor scale. When people play the Japanese flute, it's not so easy to distinguish the sounds. We used to say "Roretuga-mawaranai" in those situations, and even nowadays this word is still being used. Mt.Hiei and the Ohra area is where the word of "Tendai-Syoumyou" originated, which is a Japanese mantra. There are two rivers named the Ro-river and the Ritsu-river, located next to Ohara Sanzenin. Is the sound of water flowing Ro and Ritsu? If you are interested in this, please go there and check it..

11月17日（水）の文化交流では、滋賀県草津にある草津エストピアホテルで行われた「世界連邦運動　湯川スミ先生　生誕100年記念講演会」　http://www.wfmjapan.org/　http://shibujoho.sblo.jp/article/41513518.html　に行ってきました。

最初に、作家の野村路子氏　http://www.todoland.co.jp/nomura/nomura.html　の公演、「ひとり一人の絵をのこして　アウシュビッツで消された子どもたち」を拝聴しました。

作家が89年のチェコスロバキア（当時）訪問の際、出会った、ナチスドイツが収容所で行ったホロコーストにより犠牲になった子どもたちが残した絵のお話を中心に、世界平和のためにひとり一人が心の中に平和を持ち続けることなど、学生にとっては、難しい内容だったとは思いますが、決して忘れてはならない、大変貴重な時間になりました。

そのあと、中国笛奏者・テノール歌手、楊雪元氏　http://music.geocities.jp/yousetsugen/　の響き渡る歌声を堪能しました。

楊氏は、文化大革命終盤の74年、天津生まれで、生まれつき目が見えないリスクをものともせず、日本へも留学され、音楽を極められた方で、「千の風になって」、「北国の春」、「オーソレミーオ」などの歌声を披露してくださいました。

また、愛用の杖に穴を開け、改造した笛での「トルコ行進曲」の演奏も圧巻でした。

世界平和のために尽力されている方々に触発され、平和の尊さを再認識できた一日でした。

We attended a 100 year memorial lecture at Kusatsu Estopia Hotel in Shiga on 17^th Nov. The kick-off was Nomura Michiko's performance, which was mainly about the story of remaining pictures which were drawn by the kids. The performance was telling us how important it is to have peace in us in order to create World Peace. Those kids  were vicitims of the Nazi holocaust. Nomura Michiko met those kids in Czechoslovakia in 1989. The story was not easy for the students to understand, but we believe they have never forget about this story and spent a valuable time.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a performance by Yousetsugen, a Chinese flute player and tenor singer. Mr. You was born in 1974 during the Cultural Revolution. He was born blind, however, he studied abroad in Japan to master the music. He played "Turkischer Marsch" with his flute and sang "a thousand winds"," Kitaguni no Haru", and "osoremire". Today was the day we all reconfirmed the value of the peace because we met many people who devote their lives to World Peace.

11月25日は、短期生の学生たちと銀閣寺　http://www.shokoku-ji.or.jp/ginkakuji/　を参拝しました。

法然院　http://www.honen-in.jp/　と永観堂　http://www.eikando.or.jp/　を訪れました。

京都は今が紅葉のベストシーズンです。真っ赤に色づいたもみじの美しさに学生たちも大喜びでした。

We visited the Ginkakuji-temple, Honen-in, and Eikando as we were walking the Philosopher's Path as a field trip on 25^th Nov. It's the best season for seeing the autumn leaves in Kyoto. Students were happy to see such a beautiful red color of the maple leaves.
